This image sticks out to me because although it was taken in 1940, it still resembles today. Coming out of the subway to get to work while everyone else around is doing there own duties. There are bars, different buildings and tons of signs just like today in major cities. The composition of the photo, two men walking out from the subway with the busy background of different buildings and people gives the images a depth that not many have. This pictures inspires me because this is me, when I am wondering around New York City hopping on and off of subways, this could be any of us. Just going through our lives.
Also, the depth of field gives a degree of clarity to all of the background details of signs, buildings and lights.
