How to Use Blending Mode in Photoshop

In this YouTube video, the tutorial was on the different blending modes that can be used in Photoshop. With this video, in the description of it at the bottom, viewers are advised to click the link that allows for them to download the images that are being used as demonstration in order for the viewers to follow along. The video talks about the steps to using blending modes with two images. It is advised to use two images where there is a contrast between light and dark to make the mode more effective. Copy the first image to the other image and use F4 to scale it down. To access the blending mode, it is located above layer, and there is a drop down menu when you click “normal.” All of the options were displayed and shown what it does, some of them being that the lighten/screen option makes the darkness in the image disappear while the darkness tool makes the lightness in the image disappear. It also showed the tools that have a more harsh effect on the image and the ones that have a more soft effect on the image.
