After looking at these series, I am noticing the importance of consistency and theme. Although theme may not always appear as obvious, I plan on taking a cohesive suite of images really make my theme effective. Specifically noticeable in Lucy Gans exhibition, I love how all of her work relates to one another in a way and share similarities in composition, narrative, or appearance. I also noticed the same with the exhibition that includes Dorothea Lange’s images. I have a really big appreciation for images that have motive, passion, and purpose. I hope to highlight communication within my suite of images to either portray the disconnect or connection and love between humans. I am not sure of the exact route I want to take yet, but I know for sure that I want to have constituency in colors, location, or the style of images shot. Although I may not have the same resources as the exhibitions shown, I feel confident that I will be able to portray human connection in a consistent way.
