Annie Leibovitz’s portraits stood out to me because they were so striking. They were striking because many of her subjects are recognizable icons from culture that many would know. They were also striking due to these celebrities being in compromising or unusual positions/scenes. I am most interested in how she approached these celebrities with these ideas.
