I think this portrait is particularly effective because it is so interesting. I chose this portrait because the almost broken glass effect it has. It looks almost as though the lense through which the photo was taken was broken. Because of this effect the portrait is distorted and not true to what this person really looks like. This effect adds an interesting layer to the image and creates a sense of curiosity for the viewer.
