This image is a textbook example of tilt-shift photography. When using a tilt-shift lens, the lens plane, when adjusted, can create very interesting visual effects, such as the photograph above. The photo depicts a busy London street, but it looks like a micro-scale diorama due to the tilt effect of the tilt-shift lens. Between the shallow depth of field & tilted perspective, this shot looks as if it was just a photo of a bunch of toys.
